ABOUT US

Training & Education

Materia Group is a certified training center in Health and Social Sciences, recognized by the Cyprus Human Resource Development Authority (HRDA/ANAD) — Training Center Code: K000557, Infrastructure Code: D000761.

We have implemented a wide range of accredited training seminars targeting young healthcare professionals, migrants, and family caregivers. Topics include health and safety, nursing care, psychoeducation, dementia support, and the management of challenging behaviors.

Materia Group staff team includes HRDA-accredited trainers with professional backgrounds in nursing, psychology, physiotherapy, gerontology and public health.

Additionally, Materia serves as a clinical training site for students from all major Nicosia-based universities. We host placements and internships for degree and masters programs in psychology, physiotherapy, nutrition and dietetics, social work, speech-language pathology and other disciplines.

We are proud to offer the official 100-hour Caregiver Training Program, equipping both formal and informal caregivers with practical skills and theoretical knowledge essential for high-quality care delivery.
